I’m sorry if I look too sweet for an EVIL wizard in these pictures, which were taken by friend and fellow costumer Nergui.

Some of the details; the costume itself is made of two separate cotton dresses that both have about 7 metres of hemline. The white dress has long puffy sleeves that are fastened with gold-coloured cords around the wrists and they both have a pretty stone attached. From the belt I had hanging a small velvet pouch for my dice, a leather bag and a clay jug. The hood and bodices on both dresses are laced up, because sewing clasps in is a pain.

Also note my awesome spellbook, which was quite a hit I think.. I found it at a local bookstore, and it was one of those moments you see in comics/films/anime, where the main character finds an odd-looking book, reads it and is transported to some other world (which hasn’t happened to me quite yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did). The book is (or looks, at least) hand-bound with lovely yellow paper, and during the convention I passed it around my friends who all drew me a spell or two — now the book has such useful spells like “Beardalize”, “Unicorn Distraction in the Rear”, “Summon Farmer Joe” and “Turn Wine into Cheese”, and I’ll definitely continue collecting more spells — I think I’ll make a proper post about the book, with pictures, later.

I may post more pictures later, if I get permission from my friends.

Even more Efeme illustrations. This one looks so much better in large size, maybe I’ll post it on DA later. I don’t think I’ve ever really done stricly black&white drawings before, so I’m still learning a lot with each new illust I manage to finish (even this one took several attempts, most of which were drawn while intoxicated). Haha :p.

I’m so not into ninjas of any kind, so drawing these was rather difficult — and they’re still a bit more samurai’ish than ninja. Anyway, it’s good to start drawing again.

I never come up with any interesting post titles :(. I’ve been playing Lord of the Rings Online again, surprisingly, so I’ll just post a screenshot to keep up with my weekly post quota. Now that school’s over I don’t really get (myself) to draw that much, unless I’m away from the gamehome and bored to death. Also, I’ve been working rather hard the last two weeks; travelling around the metropolitan area, handling adhd kids, doing print layouts and zine covers, so I really can’t be bothered to do anything constructive when I finally get home.

Oh, and I got “viikon kuva” again @ Harhakuva, haha :D.

Doodled at work, tried using tones but failed with the white ink (was way too runny, bleh!).
