Our Flash Animation project was to design and create interface+animations for our school library’s borrowing system. These have kept me really busy for the last å days, and now they’re finally done.

I chose Gaiman’s Neverwhere for our book cover assignment — still a bit unfinished (I need to come up with some background texture/mess/smudge/splatter for the rest of the cover). I tried to use every possible tool I found useful, and I certainly founds some really great tools I’d never touched before. And this is still Painter yes.
These are from September or so, found them while cleaning my files at school :)!

^ a 3xA3 typography poster, starring The Flying Spaghetti Monster. I really need to get a large print of this.

^ A two-sided, foldable typography leaflet.
There’s a weekly life drawing course at school, which is pretty fun and.. well, I definitely need some practice. I’ll try to post most of the long poses I draw there.

A 12-page children’s book illustration project from last spring. Apparently it’s been a tradition at EVTEK that every first-year group gets to illustrate the same story, so there’s probably 20 years’ worth of Piggy the Brave material stored somewhere now. (read more…)
